We were approached with a young couple who were builders and promoters to do their office interiors for an 800sft space situated in the Ground floor. The site’s shell was in place when we were put on board to design.

Planning was done to accomodate the varying requirements such as the waiting lobby for vendors and clients, office space, MD cabin for the two, conference room a pantry and toilet. MD Cabin was planned adhering to Vasthu in the South west corner facing the North.
Entrance was designed with landscape and pergola treatment and a collapsible seater for wearing/removing shoes. The signage welcomes the visitors beneath which a mail box is placed.
Waiting lounge with Thirukural in acrylic letters. Seating is conceived to be minimal in style with a pendant lighting and wall washer on the texture wall. A buddha artefact was accomodated as per the clients desire.
The shelf abutting the column to house UPS batteries and other items is treated with wooden slats, access door camouflaged.
Entrance door to the MB cabin is a glass door with etching of the company branding done.
Work space with shelves and storage units and pin up boards were given near to the waiting lounge. The placement as such avoids the need of a reception area in the tight space as the entrance is overlooked by the work area.
MD cabin has the table in a striking angular form made of ply and finished with acrylic solid surface .The texture painting on the wall and the ledges supporting the display shelves complement it.
Puja facing the east and display wall with extra pouffes adorn the MD cabin.
Conference room has TV unit with lacquered glass surface that can act as a board during presentations and a storage unit near the window. A simple angular leg which also transports the cables supports the table .The bench seating legs complements it.
This room doubles up as the VIP waiting lounge and is catered to by the pantry and toilet.
False ceiling has linear profile lighting amongst wooden louveres.
Microtopping cement based floor coating is visualised for the flooring to have the colours used on the wall planes stand out and entice the user.
